talking 'bout deadlines and quizes...

'till the next ride...

frustrations come in many faces...and i sure have seen a lot of them these past few days.

we were having blood extraction for our immunology lab the other day. i've been looking forward to having finally plunge a syringe into someone's vein and suck out at least 2ml of blood since last week... morbid, but i think i deserve that little glory after all that i've been through for the past two years.

so there i was, apprehensive but altogether excited. i was one of the two volunteers from whom the first venipuncture will be demonstrated. the demo went well...and i felt releived that it was done with little pain since it was our instructor who did the extraction. i eagerly observed how the procedure was done so as to inflict as litle pain as possible to whoever my "patient" will be. but unfortunately, for some reasons, i wasn't able to do what i was looking forward to...i couldn't be more disappointed.

then came yesterday's "incident". the very thing i was trying to avoid my whole life just unfolded itself and its damage cannot be undone. i can only cry to "calm" myself.

and then there's that water some stranger accidentally spilled on my foot while i was walking towards the mall just minutes after the "incident"! ...what could better complete such a day better than that?

as how Chayl puts it, "THEY come in threes..." i beleive the water on my foot counts third of the mishaps i have encountered... i hope that was the end of it. but i know i cannot expect to never again have days such as those, life's just not like that.

well at least i had a date (with cousins, auntie, and uncle...hehe) at the end today...i think that's the least luck could give me after those rollercoaster-ride days.

...i just hope i'll get along better the next ride.
